Fabrication Futures Lab is currently recruiting fully-funded PhD students and a Post-doctoral researcher at the National University of Singapore. We are looking for self-motivated and creative students + researchers to explore the intersection of digital fabrication, material science, HCI, and design.

PhD

Fully-funded PhD scholarship for the January and August 2027 intakes who are interested in research on hybrid fabrication, 3D printing, smart materials, and design engineering!

Research Intership

We are always welcoming undergraduate research interns (3rd or 4th year only) for both semester breaks and during the academic term. If you are a student at NUS CDE and interested in joining our lab, please get in touch.

Visiting Researcher

We welcome visiting researchers from institutions in Singapore and abroad. We encourage applications from those who can provide a recommendation letter and are committed to a stay of at least six months.

PostDoc

We invite applications for a postdoctoral position in additive manufacturing and smart materials within the field of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). The initial appointment is for one year, with the option to renew for a second.
